This is an agreement between Highwood Boarding Kennels and the said party.
Highwood Boarding Kennels accept to board the dog(s) for a period of (said) days. The owner understands that all dogs are charged for the day of their arrival and the day of their departure if the dogs are collected AFTER morning opening hours. There is no charge made for the departure day if the dog is collected within morning opening hours unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking.
No refunds will be made in the case of early collection.
No reduction is made if you supply your pets own food.
A 50% deposit is required when making a booking and payment is due in full on arrival. We accept cash, cheques and debit/credit cards.
Cancellations. If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation we will refund in full your 50% deposit providing we are given 14 days notice. Cancellations made within the 14 day limit are non-refundable.
Vaccinations: Proof of vaccination, including kennel cough in the form of your dog’s up to date vaccination certificate MUST accompany your dog on arrival with us. Your vet can provide vaccine information. If proof of vaccination is not shown on arrival we will not accept your pet for boarding. New vaccination courses must have been completed at least 10 days before arrival. In the case of Kennel Cough vaccine it can be administered up to 3 days before arrival.
We require details of any pre-existing condition and reserve the right to consult a veterinary surgeon should we feel it necessary, the owner will be responsible for the cost and any medication by agreeing to our terms & conditions gives us your consent to do so. All dogs are insured during their stay with us. However, our insurance does not cover any pre-existing or ongoing conditions requiring veterinary care.
We reserve the right to refuse to board any animal that is clearly unwell or in a very poorly condition,
If a period of 7 days passes without collection of the dog and there has been no communication from the owner, Highwood Kennels may sell the dog to recoup any losses.
